Hi. I accidentally downloaded Personal Antivirus and now it keeps popping up. But it doesn’t on other users accounts. If I delete my user account will it be gone? Is there a way to remove it without downloading anything? If there is please leave step by step directions.

I’ve heard from a lot of people that Norton Antivirus is a very “heavyweight” antivirus program; it slows down your computer a lot. Has anybody switched anti-virus programs and experienced this while having good protection from viruses?

My computer is too open for fake antiviruses! So far I have Total Security, Spyware Doctor, and some Personal Antivirus on here! I desperately need help! I need something that is free and doesn’t need a license to work! Please people, I’ll vote best answer myself! Thank you to all who answer!

I recently had the antivirus live virus. It wouldn’t allow me to run any executable, task manager, anything. Finally I got task manager to open right as my computer turned on(before the virus had loaded). I deleted the *****sysguard files from the task manager and everything appears to be normal. I am now able to run Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. Is there anything else I should do to ensure that my system is clean or am I good.

I only have 1 computer in my house. All I do on it is check the news, play non username/password required games, and basically nothing else. I know people say every computer needs a antivirus. But the only thing I do on it that requires anything personal is a yahoo account. How important is it to use a antivirus? My mom says 30-60$ is a little expensive and I needed to come on here to check if I should.
